Churches, choirs, ministries and artists across Los Angeles generate news every week that never reaches a wire. Meanwhile the young people in those same congregations want careers in media and have no visible path into one.

The established community development model empowers low-to-moderate income communities through an intersectional approach — social services, economic development, housing and healthcare under one roof. This center applies that same logic to the area the model never fully covered: media and narrative.
